KaMa is a soul artist with a visceral and powerful voice, capable of deeply moving her listeners. She is an eclectic bilingual singer-songwriter, whose distinctive feature is her ability to shift between different vocal registers, embracing a wide range of styles.
She built her musical journey in the United Kingdom, training under the mentorship of British artists such as Noel Robinson (Gospel Award), Jill Cooper, Fabio D’Andrea, Troy Miller (producer for Gregory Porter and drummer for Amy Winehouse), Ian Mackenzie (Ronnie Scott Jazz Orchestra), Les Getrex, Jonn Finn, Luca Fiore, and David Milligan.
She studied at the BIMM Institute, graduating with recognition from the London College of Music.
Over the years, she has attended workshops with Lalah Hathaway, Jessi J, Norma Winstone, Abraham Laboriel, Ian Shaw, Karima, Elisabetta Prodon, and Pietro Praticò.
KaMa has been featured on various radio stations (London One, Norba), TV channels (RAI – The Voice, Canale 7, Rete 7), and festivals.
After moving to Turin for love, she further developed her jazz studies with Barbara Raimondi at the Conservatory of Turin. She has also collaborated with prominent artists from the Turin and Italian music scenes, including Davide Shorty, Johnson Righeira, Blackrockstar, Gianluca Palazzo, Stefania Tasca, Gianni Virone, Cesare Mecca, Manuel Moscaritolo, Alberto Scarano, Marco Cerrato, Emanuele Sartoris, Simone De Venuto, Angelo Viviani, Gionathan, Doncare, GroovHertz, Martin Craig, Paul Zogno, Davide Crisci, Giulio Nobile, Diego Sergi, Tommaso Cammarotto, Riccardo D’Angelo, and many others.
She is currently working on her new album, “Picasso – The Art of Loving”, a neo-soul autobiographical project that marks her artistic and personal rebirth with Attica Records under the guidance of Stefania Tasca.
